Emina Sehovic brings with her a strong background in litigation. Working for a well-known local litigation firm, she fought against insurance corporations. Emina’s fastidious work ethic, strategic mindset, and unparalleled determination make her an invaluable addition to the Boyer Law Firm legal  team.

Emina received two bachelor’s degrees from University of North Florida, in psychology and criminal justice. She went on to earn a Juris Doctorate degree from Florida State University College of Law.  Emina is currently admitted to practice law in all Florida courts.

During her stay at law school, Emina showed her passion for helping people. She did an internship at the Office of the Public Defender here in Jacksonville, she also worked as a legislative intern for Senator Audrey Gibson who represents part of the county of Duval. Taking advantage of FSU Law’s opportunities, Emina also spent a semester working as a student lawyer at the Florida State University Public Interest Law Center, particularly at the Children’s Advocacy Clinic, to help some of the state’s most vulnerable citizens. In addition, she spent a semester at the University of Oxford in Oxford, England, to study international law. During her last semester in law school, Emina worked as a legal extern for the Innocence Project in Florida.

Emina Sehovic came to Jacksonville as a refugee from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the late 1990s. She has lived in Jacksonville most of her life. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with friends and family.
