E-2 Visa Process Improved in Paris U.S. Embassy

E-2 Visa Process Improved in Paris U.S. Embassy
Embassy of the United States, Paris, France: Treaty Investor E-2

E-2 Visa Process Improved in Paris U.S. Embassy: Treaty Investor (E-2) visas allow foreign nationals to come to the United States in order to direct and develop substantial investments made in a U.S. business. As of October 1, 2015, the U.S. Embassy in Paris improved process of becoming Treaty Investor E-2. It now allows E-visa clients to submit their applications electronically in order to provide greater convenience and efficiency.

After you have registered and paid the fee(s), you will receive an auto reply confirmation and you will be asked to schedule an interview. Your appointment date must be three weeks after the submission of your application and you should only schedule an appointment in the afternoon in order to avoid delays. Applications must be submitted in PDF format and bookmarked by tab. The application is restricted to fifty (50) pages of information (excluding the biographical data requested in Tabs A-C).

This is very different from the usual practice of sending a physical paper binder of almost unlimited length and the new regulation which is also implemented in Amman, Jordan, Toronto, Canada, Madrid, Spain is setting the new trend. As such it is very likely that only project with higher investment would be successful. We will keep you posted.

If you are interested in obtaining an E-2 visa, then contact us to ensure that your application adheres to new requirements.
